“…Not all those who wander are lost…”. ~ JRR Tolkein

As a single mom of two children, Amanda understands the unique demands of the modern day working woman and mother – actively rebalancing self-time, family-time, work, school, appointments, sports, etc. She also understands what it is like to recover from injury and chronic pain.

A car accident and yoga injury sidelined her movement/yoga practice for over three years. Amanda saw many different experts and specialists who ultimately said she should live with her pain, she shouldn’t move her body because it was “too dysfunctional,” and that it’s a wonder that Amanda was walking and not in a wheelchair.

After reaching what she considered to be the “end of the line” — that moment when you realize you are running out of options to explore to get better — Amanda began to realize how much she was listening to other people’s thoughts, beliefs, and opinions, but was not listening to her own inner global navigation system. Deep down, Amanda knew there was another way, another road that she hadn’t yet explored.

“The day we stop exploring is the day we commit ourselves to live in a stagnant world devoid of curiosity, empty of dreams.” ~ Neil deGrasse Tyson

Ultimately, the paths Amanda has traveled have led her on an incredible journey of living a self-fulfilled life through awakening living, holistic nutrition, self-exploration, inner work, and movement. Her primary goal was to get out of pain and be able to move her body. All of that happened and more.

Learning to consciously surf the waves of life has given Amanda a greater capacity to accept herself, love herself, and embrace her divine femininity. The inner work she has learned has also given her the opportunity to learn how to practice conscious parenting to support, encourage, and help develop her children’s expressions of who they are through the use of their gifts.

Awakening living, holistic nutrition, self-explorations, inner work, and movement are Amanda’s passions and unique gifts. It’s also what she would be doing if time and money were of no consideration. If you choose to work with Amanda, your challenges and your unique journey can become your gifts to embracing yourself, living a self-fulfilled, self-empowered life, and learning how to consciously parent your children and/or your inner children.

In addition, Amanda believes it is necessary that we embrace, embody, and express a renewal of the “old ways” – a re-embracing of our connection to, an honoring of, and a caring for the earth, the environment, and all of its inhabitants. Expect to see more here regarding environmental and cultural activism as well as the honoring and balancing of the Divine Feminine and Masculine from an individual to global scale.
